Jeff Tidrick, LPCC, Trauma Therapist

Heal trauma.
Get your life back.

I help adults in Colorado heal trauma including PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

Healing to the root

I have trained in some of the most effective trauma-healing modalities available, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART®), the NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®), and Somatic Experiencing® (SE®).

I see symptoms as hints of a deeper story. It's not about what's wrong with you, but what happened to you, and how you adapted to survive. Healing trauma is an opportunity to gain awareness, reclaim your vitality, authenticity, and self-agency. By healing the roots, symptoms on the surface begin to lose their grip, and more of your life opens back up.

How I work

I use the following modalities to go to the roots, where real change is possible.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART)

A fast, structured, evidence-based approach to trauma and PTSD symptoms tied to a specific memory or image that keeps resurfacing. Uses eye movements similar to EMDR to help the brain change how a distressing memory is stored, so the memory stays but the emotional charge softens. You don't need to describe what happened in detail for it to work. Often brings noticeable relief in just one or two sessions.

The NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®)

Focuses specifically on complex (CPTSD) and developmental trauma, including adverse childhood experiences that have affected you as an adult. Works at depth, by bringing curiosity, heartfulness, and non-judgmental awareness to what you really want, and how old survival patterns have been getting in the way. It explores in the present moment without needing to endlessly re-live the past.

Somatic Experiencing® (SE)

Focuses mostly on shock traumas (PTSD), events that changed your ability to feel at ease in your own body. Frees the energy stuck in the body from incomplete survival responses such as fight, flight, and freeze. I usually weave it into the other approaches I use, rather than as a standalone method.

Rates

Individual therapy is $175 for a 55-minute session.

A limited number of reduced-rate spots are available when cost is a barrier. If that's you, mention it during our consultation and we'll see what's possible.

Do I need a diagnosis?

Only if you want one.

Insurance and medication require a diagnosis. But I operate on a cash-pay basis, so with me it's optional.

Some people find a diagnosis genuinely useful. Others would rather not have one. Here, it's your choice.
